The puzzle is hidden in the Havarl remnant vault after four lasers have been activated. The Remnant Decryption Puzzle can be found at any time during free roaming at Voeld, at the end of a Remnant Vault that you can access at any time. There is no way to get back in the vault after it has been completed. They can be used to open a chest that has been sealed by a glyph combination. During this task, there are four scannable glyphs available in the Remnant Vault. To solve the quest “Restoring a World,” you must complete three remnant puzzles scattered throughout Voeld. On the world map, Points of Interest are commonly found at Alien Monoliths. They are typically quests that require the player to participate. The trophy and achievement Cryptographer are awarded to those who complete 20 remnant puzzles in a single playthrough. The Remnant Glyph Puzzles are an important feature of Mass Effect Andromeda. With a little patience and some trial and error, any player can solve an Andromeda glyph puzzle. Finally, it is often helpful to think about the symmetry of the puzzle when making a guess. Second, it can be helpful to use a process of elimination to narrow down the possible options. First, it is important to take your time and look at all the symbols before making a guess. There are a few tips that can help players solve these puzzles. The player must first select a starting point and then work their way around the puzzle until they have correctly guessed the order of all the symbols. (credit: elKamikazeSquid) Some players have reported that certain puzzles haven't been counting for them. Go to Menu - Skills - Press - Select Accomplishments - Scroll to the bottom. Even though the acheivement itself does not progress, you can check this in-game. This is the count: Total: 22 Missable: 6 There is one MISSABLE puzzle in the main vault of each planet except for H-047C (which has no vault). I can't verify this though so if you missed the cheevo on your first playthough I would advise solving all of them on NG+ until it unlocks (not just the ones you think you needed to get 20 on your first run). However, it has been claimed by some that any you miss on your first playthrough can be solved on New Game+ and the achievement will unlock when you've accumulated 20 total.
